The game developer cannot customize a game to everyone's preference, but ReShade can. For example I choose to play videogames with lots of color (because more colors makes me more happy), so that's one of the things I change. It allows you to visually customize your videogames to your preference. ReShade is a injector and post-processor for videogames. What if there was a way to get current-ish graphics in any videogame, improving or stylishing a game to look (reasonably) modern? But doing so, the quality of game graphics varies widely. If you want to play a business game, again, you can choose any. If you feel like playing a WWII game, you can choose any, not what happens to be releasing. One of the beautiful things about being a patient gamer is you're not dependent on the frankly boring hype-buy-play-repeat cycle that gaming publications and game developers have perfected to keep you hooked on. Now ReShade isn't without a learning curve, but learning it is well worth it. I suspect most patient gamers don't know about ReShade, so I thought I'd make a post.
